Learning from buckled paper
I wasn't going to write this up, but Ilan asked how it went. Halfway through I noticed a brush that lost its point.
The water brush I bought last autumn finally earned its place. I asked Brigid, who just laughed. The odd thing is that painting the same view every week worked. None of this is new, but working wet into wet is new to me.
Last autumn I would have given up on the palette at this point. One day I'll get to a loose, confident sky.
