Hello

Hi. My name is hanna.wash, and this is where I write about sketching. Home is a village at the end of a bus line, and most of these posts start there.

I've been working in watercolour for eight years now; it started with a birthday present I nearly gave away. None of this is expert advice; it's one person's notes on watercolour painting.

Bobbin is my old palette, and turns up here a lot. I post when there's something to say about painting in watercolour, which is roughly every week or so.

This site is my notebook: what worked, what didn't, and what I keep forgetting. I write things down here so I stop making the same mistakes, which works about half the time.

Hanna's Pigment Book has no comments or newsletter, just the feed. The pages of Hanna's Pigment Book are static and small, so they load quickly even on a train.
